š¤ AI Writing Apps
Earlier this week, I wrote: AI Writers Are About To Ruin Everything.
Lex did. I only provided the topic.
I have been testing AI writing apps for months, most of which were either hard to use or simply produced garbage, but Lex wasā¦ different.
Lex is designed by writers, for writers, to be a minimal word processor app, similar to Google Docs, and also incorporates GPT-3 assisted AI writing technology as a prompt device.
The result was fantasticāthe entire article was written in under 30 seconds, with minimal editing from me. Most importantly, it was not crap.
I'm unsure whether to use Lex again to generate an entire post. However, I will use the prompts the next time I have writer's block.
š Edible Protein Powder From Thin Air
A team in Singapore recently discovered that you could pull proteins out of thin air and make food out of them.
Solein, a yellow protein powder, has a delicate umami taste.
Pretty interesting considering the rising food cost, especially animal protein.
Imagine having a protein synthesizer sitting on your kitchen countertop at home. Just plug in your desired macronutrient ratio of 9 essential amino acids you would like to consume, and the machine spends the next few hours cultivating yeast proteins from thin air. We are one step closer to printing hamburgers on the hollow deck.
š¤µš½āThe Next James Bond
Finally, in honor of this long-overdue issue 007, Daniel Craig has filmed his last James Bond movie, and the hunt for the new Bond begins.
Some names have already been thrown around, like Idris Elba and Sam Heughan, but it would be fantastic to have an augmented James Bond hybrid.
Daniel Craig has filmed his last James Bond movie, and the hunt for the new Bond begins. Some names have already been thrown around, like Idris, Elba, and Sam Heughan, but -regardless of the actor- it would be awesome to have an augmented James Bond hybrid.
Hollywood should take the next iteration of the Bond characters to the next level by incorporating augmented reality biometric scanners and epigenetic manipulation as cutting-edge next-level technologies in the bond universe.
Either way, the franchise needs a reboot. What better way to appeal to a younger audience than steering the character away from the international jock-bouncer character, back to that classic Bond that was clever, tech-savvy, and a nerd-spy?
