How To Develop Your 'Bad Advice' Filter

Most of the advice you will receive in your life will be bad advice. The advice will likely be bad for one of two reasons:
The advice is incorrect in some way or,
The advice needs to be more specific to apply to your situation.
Sometimes, well-intentioned friends and family members will dole out advice to help you. However, their advice is often given out of jealousy or competition, rather than genuine care and concern.
Your Life's Mission will be to figure out which bits of advice to ignore and which bits to follow. Those decisions will be some of the toughest you will ever make.

questioning the advice,
considering the source, and
thinking about how it aligns with your values and goals.
